Otto is a French bulldog and Frank is a Maine Coon. The bistro takes its name from these two pets — look for their photos on the wall when you step inside.

Just behind Zagreb's main square, Tkalčićeva is a street for walking. Dolac Market is close by, bringing fresh ingredients to the kitchen every morning and a menu that changes with the seasons.

Come for breakfast at any hour, a casual lunch or dinner, comfort food and something sweet. Stay for an espresso, a craft beer, Croatian wine or a cocktail — inside or out on the terrace.

We walked for a kilometre to get there for experienceing a truly Zagreb style breakfast. Of course worth the walk. The location is perfect, so is the vibe! The Zagreb style breakfast is so good! It quite took a little bit of waiting, so I guess it must be really crowded in the peak season! A good value for money!

Great venue for brunch. It's in a tourist area but don't be put off. Have the house special breakfast of deep fried boiled eggs on toast. Amazing.

A cosy location for brunch, lunch and dinner or simply coffee and cake or drinks. Indoor and outdoor seating, very good food (Zagreb breakfast, buratta and pumpkin, plum and pumpkin pudding and plum cake all very good) Staff friendly. Make sure to check out the photos of Otto (a French bulldog) and Frank (a Maine Coon) on the wall.

My wife and i are big fans of Otto and Franck. We arrived too late to get breakfast, but my wife ordered the Zagrebački breakfast which is available all day and she found absolutely delicious. I ordered the classic burger which was one of the best burgers I have tried in Zagreb. The service was fast and the food was great. Cannot recommend this place enough!!

Truly a destination restaurant in Zagreb. You can see the crowd attached to the place when you walk up. We went once and came back the next day it was so good. We enjoyed the crispy poached eggs both days, very consistent quality. I had a Bloody Mary the second day to mix it up. They do have craft beer selections on the menu. We had coffee both days as well.
